| today orchestral conducting exam..
it was OK..
the orcherstra didn't follow very well for the first 4 bars of the magic flute hah..but oh well..i heard everyone saying the same thing after coming out of the room..and actually i was kinda lost in the middle of the piece haha...and i didn't really make any differences on the dynamics...but oh well...i just kept on conducting..hmmm...hope it's ok..but the prof said "very good" at the end..hmmm i wonder how well i did..but he wasn't saying it in an amazed way, he's just saying it in a 'fair enough' way..so i guess i did OK on that and i hope i can get an A on that course.....at least an A-..as to average out the low marks in the stupid chinese ensemble!! ><
as for the written part..i think i did OK too..well...it's like an open book exam..>< well..not sure if that is good or not..ppl just chatting around and discussing the answers hah..
i just hope i did the piano reduction correct..and the other transposing.
...so now i need to work on my choral conducting paper....
should be easy too...only 3 pages...the first page is just the composer's biography in point form..ha..but first of all i need to decide which song to choose from. |
